This Privacy Policy explains how Wizard Parking LLC collects, uses, and shares personal information when you use our websites (including wizardparking.com and wizard.nyc), apps, and services (the "Platform"). 2. How we use it

  • Provide the Platform, process reservations and monthly pass purchases, and deliver parking passes.
  • Share booking details with Operators so you can enter and exit.
  • Process payments and refunds, and prevent fraud.
  • Show parking near you, if you allow location access.
  • Send receipts, reminders, service messages, and support replies.
  • Send marketing emails unless you opt out, and marketing texts only with your consent.
  • Analyze usage, fix errors, and improve the Platform, and advertise Wizard Parking on other sites and apps.
  • Enforce our Terms, protect users and our business, and comply with the law.

We may create de-identified or aggregated data, such as booking volume by city. We keep it de-identified and do not try to re-identify it.

3. How we share it

We do not sell personal information for money. Reviews you post are public and shown with your first name and last initial. We also share information with:

  • Operators of facilities you book, so they can honor your reservation, manage entry, handle on-site issues, enforce facility rules, and set up monthly agreements you start through us. Operators handle this data under their own privacy policies. Operators may not use it to send you marketing.
  • Service providers working on our behalf, such as payment processing, hosting, customer support, email and text delivery, analytics, and fraud prevention. Examples include Sentry for error monitoring and a session replay tool for site analytics. They may use it only to serve us.
  • Parking technology partners, such as the gate, access, or plate-recognition systems Operators use, to validate your reservation.
  • Your organization, if you book through a business account or link an expense tool.
  • Advertising partners, such as Google and Meta (Instagram), through pixels, SDKs, and cookies on the Platform. They receive device identifiers, pages viewed, and actions such as completed bookings, to show and measure our ads. We may also share hashed (scrambled) email addresses so they can match our ads to people who use their services. Some state laws treat this as "sharing" or "selling"; see Sections 4 and 6 to opt out.
  • Authorities and others, when required by law, subpoena, or court order, or to protect rights, safety, and property.
  • A buyer or successor in a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of assets, subject to this policy's protections.
  • Anyone else at your direction or with your consent.

4. Cookies and similar technologies

We use cookies, pixels, and SDKs to keep you signed in, remember preferences, measure usage, record site sessions to improve our design, monitor errors, and show and measure our ads. Session replay tools mask passwords and payment fields. Optional cookies, including session replay and advertising tools, load only after you accept them in our cookie banner. You can change your choice any time through the Cookie Preferences link in our site footer or your browser settings.

To opt out of targeted advertising, use the "Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information" link in our site footer, or turn on a Global Privacy Control signal, which we honor for that browser or device. You can also adjust ad settings in your Google and Meta accounts and on your device. Our Cookie Policy lists the tools we use.

5. Your choices

  • Marketing emails: use the unsubscribe link in any marketing email.
  • Texts: reply STOP, change your notification settings, or contact support.
  • Push notifications and location: change your device settings. Parking search still works without precise location.
  • Account details: view and edit them in your account settings.
  • Closing your account: you can close your account in the app's account settings, which deactivates it. To have your personal information deleted, email support@wizardparking.com with the subject line "Privacy Request." We will delete or de-identify it, except records we must keep by law, such as transaction records for tax purposes, or need to prevent fraud or resolve disputes.

6. Privacy rights by state

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:

  • know what personal information we hold and get a copy in a portable format;
  • correct inaccurate information;
  • delete personal information;
  • opt out of targeted advertising, "sale," or "sharing" for cross-context behavioral advertising;
  • opt out of profiling that produces legal or similarly significant effects (we do not do this); and
  • limit use of sensitive personal information, such as precise location.

These rights apply to residents of states with comprehensive privacy laws, including California, Colorado, Connecticut, Virginia, Texas, Oregon, and others. We honor these requests from all U.S. users, wherever they live.

Sensitive data. We collect precise location only with your opt-in permission on your device, and use it only for location features. We do not sell it or share it for advertising.

Making a request. Email support@wizardparking.com with the subject line "Privacy Request." We verify your identity, usually by confirming your account email or phone. An authorized agent may act for you with your signed written permission.

Timing. We respond within 45 days, or tell you if we need up to 45 more.

Appeals. If we deny a request, you may appeal by emailing support@wizardparking.com with "Privacy Appeal" in the subject line. We respond within the time your state's law requires. If you disagree with the outcome, you may contact your state attorney general.

No discrimination. We will not deny service or charge different prices because you exercise these rights.

California notice. In the past 12 months, we collected the categories in Section 1, for the purposes in Section 2, and disclosed them to the recipients in Section 3. We have not sold personal information for money. We "share" identifiers, device and usage data, and commercial information, such as bookings made, with advertising partners for cross-context behavioral advertising. You can opt out through the "Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information" link. We do not share personal information with third parties for their own direct marketing without your consent.

7. Security

We use administrative, technical, and physical safeguards, such as encryption in transit, access controls, and vendor security reviews, consistent with New York's SHIELD Act and other applicable laws. No system is completely secure. If a breach affects your information, we will notify you as the law requires.

8. Retention

We keep personal information while your account is open and as needed to run the Platform. Afterward, we keep it only as long as needed for legal, tax, accounting, dispute, or fraud-prevention purposes, then delete or de-identify it.
